In the western church are we ashamed of the Bible, or are we prepared to preach God’s word boldly? Are we cowardly in our approach to the culture we live in, or are we prepared to stand against the tide of ungodliness? Do we truly love God and put him first in all things, or are we prioritising the idols of our age? Are we prepared to name and recognise sin and turn away from it in repentance, as Jesus told us to? Or do we simply want to cover it up with talk of ‘outrageous grace’ and carry on regardless?
