A great article. Thank you. I am reminded of this CS Lewis quote: "I believe in Christianity as I believe that the sun has risen: not only because I see it, but because by it I see everything else."

This paper has good evidence that avoiding sun exposure is actually rather bad for health:

For more on that sort of thing, see e.g. this post from A Midwestern Doctor:

Thanks. Interesting articles. There seems to be a lot of evidence that being outside and having sensible exposure to the sun is good for us, as God intended it to be. I even limit my use of sunglasses now!

Well put. I particularly liked the false god/false worship elements. It's important to show a largely religiously illiterate culture that the gods, and other spiritual things, and matters of wisdom, are still as relevant now as they've always been. Our technology and our (always changing) 'knowledge' hasn't changed the basic nature of humans and the important questions we must ask and resolve in our lives.

Yes, we are surrounded by idols and false gods to be worshipped. You are right, the basic nature of humans has not changed, and we certainly have not progressed in my opinion!

So many things that are happening around us today seem utterly demonic. What could be more demonic than blocking out the source life giving heat and light from Earth?
